What is the difference between an online and an on-campus degree?

Both degrees offer the same level of academic excellence and personalised support. EDHEC’s online programs offer participants the same quality of knowledge and skills as traditional in-person programs.

While on-campus programs are delivered through physical classes, online programs rely on virtual platforms to reach learners worldwide.

EDHEC’s online programs use two different learning formats: asynchronous and synchronous. Asynchronous courses offer flexibility, allowing participants to access course materials and complete assignments at their own pace. Synchronous courses require students to attend virtual sessions at fixed times, enabling real-time interaction with professors, mentors, coaches, and other participants, regardless of their location. EDHEC’s online programs combine both types of learning: synchronous activities with weekly live classes and real-time exchanges between participants, professors, and coaches, as well as high-quality asynchronous content designed with a user-centred and gamified approach.

Upon completing an online program with EDHEC, you will receive a degree from the institution. EDHEC holds the prestigious triple accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA), reflecting the academic excellence of its programs, the quality of its faculty, and its strong ties with the business world.

Participants in EDHEC’s online programs receive their degrees alongside students from on-campus programs during the annual graduation ceremony held on one of the campuses.
