News,

EDHEC has reached a significant milestone, with more than 1,000 active participants across its online programs. This reflects the growing demand for flexible, high-quality education designed to support professionals as they develop new skills and progress in their careers, wherever they are in the world.

Alongside this growing community, EDHEC continues to develop its online program portfolio to support more inclusive access to the skills professionals need in a changing business environment, including AI literacy. In recent months, a new Master of Science and an Executive Bachelor have been introduced, two new finance certificates have been launched, and existing programs have continued to evolve in response to participant feedback and changing business needs.

For Caroline Prévost, EDHEC Online Director, this growth goes hand in hand with continuously improving participants’ experience:

Continuous improvement and innovation are at the heart of the EDHEC Online experience. We constantly listen to our participants, learn from their experience and explore new technologies and practices to make their learning journey more engaging, efficient and relevant.

Addressing AI literacy and business analytics with a new Master of Science

As organisations increasingly integrate data and AI into strategic decision-making, the ability to connect analytical insights with business priorities is becoming essential. The new Online MSc in Business Analytics & AI for Management has been designed to develop this combination of management, analytics and AI capabilities. Taking a management-first approach, with no prior coding or data science experience required, the 15-month online program helps participants build their understanding of business intelligence, data visualisation and AI while strengthening core management skills.

Through tools including Tableau, Power BI and Python, alongside business cases, simulations and a Consulting Project for a real organisation, participants learn to translate data into informed business decisions and collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.

For Julien Deslangle, Online International Programs Director, the new MSc responds to a growing need for professionals who can bridge business strategy, analytics and AI:

Organisations are looking for professionals who can do more than interpret data or use AI tools. They need managers who can connect analytical insights to strategic priorities, make evidence-based decisions and lead effectively in increasingly data-driven environments. This MSc was designed to develop that combination of business, analytics and AI capabilities, while remaining accessible to professionals without a technical background.

Supporting professionals as they progress into management

The new Executive Bachelor Management and Business Development (delivered in French) has been designed for early- and mid-career professionals looking to move from operational responsibilities into management roles. Delivered entirely online over one year, the program develops the core business, managerial and commercial capabilities needed to manage teams, contribute to organisational strategy and support transformation.

The curriculum covers strategy, leadership, managerial communication, financial and performance management, AI and data-informed decision-making, sustainability, marketing and business development. Participants also apply their learning through collaborative projects based on real business situations, while individual and group coaching supports their professional development.

For Christophe Abrial, Online French Programs Director, the program also responds to the way AI and data are transforming business and management roles:

AI and data are reshaping careers in business and management. With the Executive Bachelor Management and Business Development, our ambition is to help participants understand these changes, identify the opportunities they create, and approach them with both a critical and ethical mindset.

Building on EDHEC’s finance expertise with two new certificates

Finance remains a key area of development for EDHEC Business School, building on the school’s strong reputation and expertise in the field. With these two new French-language certificates, EDHEC is further strengthening a comprehensive online finance portfolio, combining long and short programs, in both French and English, to support professionals at different stages of their careers.

The new certificates address complementary needs: helping non-financial managers build essential financial knowledge, while enabling professionals with more advanced responsibilities to develop a strategic understanding of financial performance.

As Christophe Abrial, Online French Programs Director, explains, the objective is not to turn managers into finance specialists, but to strengthen their ability to use financial information in their decision-making:

The best managers don’t just understand the numbers; they make them tell a story. These certificates are not designed to train finance professionals, but to equip managers to make informed decisions about allocating resources, prioritising investments and creating sustainable value.

Building financial confidence for non-financial managers

The Finance for managers micro-certificate is designed for managers, project leaders and entrepreneurs who make decisions with financial implications without necessarily having formal training in finance. Over 12 weeks and approximately 20 hours of learning, participants develop the skills to compare financing options, understand key profitability indicators and assess investment opportunities and their associated risks. The program aims to help them integrate financial considerations more confidently into their decisions and communicate more effectively with finance teams.

Developing a strategic view of financial performance

The Driving Financial Performance advanced certificate is designed for professionals looking to develop a broader and more strategic understanding of financial performance. Delivered over 24-26 weeks and approximately 110 hours, the program covers financial accounting and analysis, law, ethics and compliance, ESG audit, performance management and corporate finance.

Participants develop the skills to interpret financial statements, manage budgets and performance indicators, assess investment decisions and connect financial performance with wider strategic and sustainability considerations. This certificate is eligible for CPF funding.

Continuing to evolve existing online programs

Innovation is not only about introducing new programs, it’s about continuously updating existing programs based on feedback, market demands, and job industry needs.

Our online programs are also regularly reviewed and developed to reflect participant feedback, academic developments and changing business practices. This includes updating courses and electives or introducing new perspectives around areas such as AI, automation and sustainability. This continuous improvement helps ensure that the learning experience remains relevant to the challenges professionals and organisations face today.

Creating a seamless digital student experience

Continuous improvement also extends to the wider student experience. EDHEC Online brings courses, interactions with professors and academic and support services together within a single digital campus, providing students with one point of entry throughout their studies.

The experience is designed to reduce friction and simplify interactions, allowing students to focus on what matters most: learning and progressing in their studies.

Adapting the learning journey to different needs

Program developments also reflect the different ways participants want to learn and develop professionally. The Executive Master Management Online now gives participants greater flexibility, with the choice between a 100% online format and an option including the Leadership Track.
The Leadership Track complements online learning with in-person experiences designed to strengthen participants’ managerial and leadership capabilities. This gives professionals the opportunity to choose the format that best matches their objectives, availability and preferred learning experience.

Realising ambitions through innovative online programs

Launching a new MSc and Executive Bachelor, expanding the finance certificate portfolio and continuing to develop existing programs all reflect the same priority: ensuring that our online programs evolve alongside the needs of their learners and the organisations in which they work.
Growth also means continuing to strengthen the learning community behind the online experience. For Enrique Taulet Novo, Transformation Manager at Allianz Partners and Online MSc in Corporate Finance alumnus, collaboration was a defining part of the experience:

It is absolutely a myth that you are lonely or alone when you do an online program, because in this program with EDHEC, 90% of the work was done through a collaborative approach.
