  • 2 to 4 elective courses to customise your marketing specialisation
  • 1 live online class every week hosted by your academic mentor to review content, encourage discussion, and answer questions

  • Individual self-paced study time and group work sessions (about 15 to 20 hours per week)
  • Each module is evaluated based on exercises, tests, quizzes, case studies, and participation.

      Consulting Project

      You will have the opportunity to undertake a consulting project to formulate a strategy for a real company in the international marketplace. In line with EDHEC’s ethos of social and connective learning, you will work in a team to make useful and actionable recommendations for your chosen organisation, just as a real consultant would, on a concrete topic linked to your career plan.

      Your choice of topic may be linked to a company you’d like to work for, one of its customers, or a company that you would like to found or take over. You will be supported in this exercise by an academic mentor and a member of the teaching faculty.

      What are the requirements?

      • 3-year Bachelor’s degree minimum (180 ECTS)
      • Professional experience recommended (Academic transcript required for any professional experience under 3 years)

      What’s the difference between an online digital marketing degree and one attended in person?

      Both delivery methods ensure the same level of academic excellence and personalised support. EDHEC online MSc in Strategic Marketing offers the same high-quality knowledge and skills to their participants as the traditional on-campus programmes.

      While on-campus programmes are delivered through in-person classes, online programmes leverage advanced digital platforms to reach learners globally.

      Online programmes use two different formats: asynchronous and synchronous learning. Asynchronous classes provide flexibility, allowing students to access course materials and complete assignments at their own pace. Synchronous classes require students to attend virtual sessions at scheduled times, enabling real-time interaction with professors, mentors, coaches, and classmates from anywhere. EDHEC online programs combine both elearning types: synchronous activities with weekly live classes and real-time messaging between participants, professors and coaches, and high-quality asynchronous content by following an approach founded on user experience and gamification.

      You will receive a diploma from EDHEC, a Business School ranked 7th in Europe (Financial Times 2023 ranking) with triple accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA). This guarantees the academic excellence of the programmes, the expertise of the teaching staff, as well as its close ties to businesses.

      What is the difference between a Master in Strategic Marketing and a Master in marketing management?

      The main difference between a Master in Strategic Marketing and a Master in Marketing Management lies in their focus areas. A Master in Strategic Marketing focuses on long-term planning, branding, and market positioning strategies, helping learners to understand how to align marketing with broader business goals.

      A Master in Marketing Management emphasises the operational and tactical aspects of managing marketing activities, such as campaign execution, team leadership, and resource management.

      How much time can I expect to spend on this programme?

      You experience several different learning formats: with your entire class during live online classes, in learning groups and on your own at your own pace. We recommend you dedicate 15 to 20 hours of individual work towards your course per week.

      Maintaining a work-life balance is essential and will help to ensure learners get the most out of their course. Our training courses are designed so that learners can adjust their workload to align with their personal situation.

      EDHEC Online Campus: how does it work? 

      The program content is divided into modules. For each module, a set of deliverables is usually required, to be completed individually or in groups.

      On the virtual campus, you have access to weekly interactive online classes, workshops and discussions via Slack messaging. Our participants are also required to work in groups on a collaborative project throughout the program.

      Compatible with tablets and mobiles, the online campus is accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
