Hi, I’m Yasmin and I’m from Berlin, but I’ve had quite an international upbringing as well. So, I attended international schools, for example. And my professional background is that I’ve worked in various political institutions, NGOs, but also in consultancy. And currently, I work in supply chain management in Berlin as well.

Why did you join EDHEC Online Master of Science?

I decided to do the Master to develop myself personally and also professionally and grow academically even further. I decided to do the online master specifically because it provides me with great flexibility to work and study beside one another. So, it was a great chance for me to apply my gained insights at my job directly, but also vice versa.

So the interactions with my fellow students and professors was always a very fruitful exchange. And that’s because everyone came from different backgrounds, different industries. We were a cohort of completely different ages and nationalities, and I thoroughly enjoyed this very dynamic exchange. It was great to learn from one another.

How did this experience contribute to your personal and professional development? Throughout the past two years, I’ve grown both personally and professionally. And I would say that one aspect that helped me become much more clear about my life and career goals was the coaching, as it provided me with personalized insights that really were tailored to my current role and my insights as well. And I became much more clear on what I want to achieve and where I am going towards. And professionally, it of course also helped me a lot because I am now connected to a lot of different people from various industries, and I always got the chance to learn from others with unique and great insights.
