Why did you choose to pursue the Online MSc in Data Management & Business Analytics with EDHEC?
“I chose this program because it helps me better understand what the industry is currently doing and what it is offering. It is very important to stay updated and educated about what you want to sell and do. This specific program helped me because I wanted to work and study at the same time.”
Tell us about your experience studying online with EDHEC
“The experience was really enjoyable. I really liked the type of teachers we had in these courses and how they accompanied us throughout the program. I was able to speak with them and have dedicated time to ask questions about the technical aspects of the courses or even about career coaching.
In terms of the courses, I really liked the balance between the technical side and the business side. The combination of data, business analytics and a little bit of MBA-style courses was exactly the kind of balance I was looking for.
Regarding the coaching, I really enjoyed it. I think it was one of the most important parts of the program and it really helped me with my career, especially in reflecting on what I want to do and how I envision myself in the future.”
How did the program help you in your current role?
“The program has helped me a lot. It gave me valuable insight into the data-related aspects I wanted to learn, as well as the strategic elements, especially through the choice of electives.
The electives allowed me to shape the final part of the program in a way that aligned with my goals. In the end, everything I learned in these electives was very valuable, not only for myself, but also for the team I manage and for the company itself. It helped us develop different services and approach things differently from how we were doing them before. We learned a great deal from that. Overall, the company has really benefited from this master’s that I pursued.”
What advice would you give to future participants?
“My advice is to give your best in each course and really try to learn as much as possible. Let the professors truly teach you, and if you have any extra questions, don’t hesitate to ask them.
Scores and grades you get in exams or quizzes, nobody will remember those, not even yourself. What you will remember is what you actually learned. So make the most of it and really enjoy what you’re doing and what you’re studying.”
